Macky and Tommy hold a special place in the history of Young's Signature Homes. They were our very first remodeling clients, trusting us with their home when our company was just getting started. Years later, when it came time to build their forever home, they trusted us again. There is no greater compliment than having clients come back and ask you to build their dream from the ground up.
This custom country shop house was designed to combine comfortable country living with the functionality of a spacious shop. Every detail was planned around the way Macky and Tommy wanted to live, creating a home that is both beautiful and practical.
Inside, the open-concept living space features custom cabinetry, a large kitchen island, warm natural hardwood floors, and an inviting layout that makes entertaining easy. The primary suite offers a peaceful retreat with a spacious bedroom, a spa-inspired bathroom with dual vanities, and a large walk-in closet complete with custom built-ins.
One of the standout features is the oversized attached shop. With high ceilings, oversized garage doors, bright LED lighting, and plenty of workspace, it was built to handle everything from everyday storage to future projects.
Outside, the welcoming front porch overlooks the peaceful countryside, making it the perfect place to enjoy a quiet morning or watch the sunset after a long day.
Watching this project come to life was incredibly rewarding, but what makes it even more meaningful is the journey behind it. From our very first remodel to building their custom home, Macky and Tommy have been part of our story from the beginning.
